Blaire rubbed the back of his head as he stood, then shivered. Even with the built in heaters in his clothing, it was still cold. He wrapped his large lizard-like tail around his waist and looked around the dark metallic room. Where had Siek gone?
He walked to where the door was and opened it, causing him to shiver yet again as a breeze blew through the door. He didn't understand how anything could live on this planet, it wasn't near warm enough.
He stepped out of the small spaceship carefully, gripping the edges of the opening as he put one padded foot down after another. A small green snake slithered after him, wrapping around his arm before the young kurakushon let go of the ship.
He looked around, the terrain something he'd never seen before. A lush green field on the edge of a bunch of trees. He had never seen so many plants. It was nothing like the deserts of his home. He didn't see anything alive nearby, but he could sense small animals and other things not far from where he was. He again wondered where Siek had gone.
"He probably just went to go look around after I passed out..." Blaire said to no-one in particular, rubbing the back of his head where he'd hit it again. "I should stay here..." He muttered. "I can turn the heater on the shi-" He sighed, remembering that the heater broke on their way there. It was such a faulty piece of junk.

Sythiuss hovered high above the area of impact, the thrusters on his suit's "wings" humming silently in the air. He scanned the area using his honed senses, for despite the fact he was not incredibly high in the air, his eyes could barely make out anything in front of him. He sensed a living creature below, it smelled reptillian. Deciding it would be quite impossible to make his presence unknown, and to avoid any unwanted hostilites, he landed a short distance off, and in one amazing leap, he landed upon the ship.
He turned his head to the side so that his eye would get a better view of the area before him. He saw what must have been the creature he had caught a scent of. With another slightly shorter jump he landed a mere ten feet away. His back was facing the creature, and he turned his head once more to face this creature. Unsure of what to say, he waited for him to speak first.

Blaire yelped something in a strange language as Sythiuss landed in front of him. He had no idea what was going on. He'd never seen anything like him before, and of what he knew of Earth creatures, he seemed like a giant bug. He calmed down and decided to speak English, instead of mumbling in his native toungue.
"Wh-what are you..." He stuttered. "And why are you here?"

Deciding not to give away any important information immedietly, he clacked his two pairs of mandibles. It seemed this creature was afraid, or at least startled by his appearance, but he seemed just as alien as he was.
"I could ask you the same questions..." he said in a cold tone, his words hissing as they escaped his mandibles. He continued to be aware of his surroundings, this creature did not seem hostile, but there had been plenty of cases where a seemingly innocent creature was used as bait for a much more malignant being.
He was ready to activate his weapons, but he did not seem at all tense. He waited for the creature to speak once more. He might currently be on any sort of bounty, but there were constantly those who sought vengence upon him for murdering those they loved, those who were important to them, or perhaps even those who they were loyal to. He certainly was not ready to die now, no, there was still much to do...

Siek...alota... Blaire thought, trembling slighty. This strange creature seemed to be hostile, or maybe he was just being paranoid.
"Uh..F-followed...m-main ship. Th-they came here because of kilates..." He added a few more things to the end of his sentence, but they obviously weren't english, sounding like jibberish.
"I-I am Blaire. I-I am a Kurakushon." He stated, still stuttering. He was scared.

This creature was terrified, and with that, he decided that perhaps he could tone down his own hostility. He turned his body completely to face Blaire, and his demeanor visibly relaxed. Though he was still aware, it was not to the point where it seemed like he was ready to remove the heads from the necks of the innocent.
"...Very well. I am Sythiuss. I am the last of my kind, doubt you have ever heard of the Srikreen." he said with a nod, "I did not mean to frighten you...I walk a path that often introduces betrayal. It is in my nature."
He hoped this would rid of any fears, then again, he was well aware of his...stranger than normal appearance.

"Sorry..I'm just a bit-"
Blaire was cut off by the arrival of another. "Mirk..." he continued to mutter in the strange language, Blaire replying back in the same way.
Blaire nodded. "Vrit Siek."
The other kurakushon, clad in all black, made his way into the ship, green eyes glancing over to study Sythiuss.
"Uh...that's...Siek. He's a friend of mine..." Blaire explained, controlling his stuttering.

After hearing the two beings talk amongst themselves in a different language, possibly their native tongue, and then Blaire's explanation, he simply nodded in confirmation. It was not good for him finacially to be standing out here. These people certainly seemed as new to this place as he was, but it was certainly worth a shot to ask them a few questions about the area.
"My name is Sythiuss..." he said first to the newcomer, "...Did you happen to know of any nearby towns?" he asked, idly clacking his mandibles afterwords as he waited for an answer from either one of the two. He had to find an employer, or at least someone who wanted another man dead. Neither of these two seemed to be candidates for his services, but then again, it wouldn't hurt to ask that a little later...

(I want to warn you that because there's a storm coming here, my internet wil be kicking out often and power may go out, so I may take awhile for posting at times.)
Siek had already gone back inside the ship, not caring at all about Sythiuss being there.
"We just got here, so we don't know where anything is yet." Blaire explained. "Sorry we're not much help."
(sorry this is a short post but I couldn't think of anything and I want to get it up before my internet goes out again.)

((Not a problem, my internet doesn't even need a storm to decide it doesn' t want to work anymore...quite annoying.))
Sythiuss hissed and chittered, his mandibles clacking rapidly. He calmed down after a moment and let out a strange sigh that sounded much more like a death-threat. Luck certainly had not been on his side as of late. He observed the ship, a relatively low-tech vessel, which was now seemed like a scrap heap, due to the fact it seemed to be doing very little for these creatures.
"Very well..." Sythiuss said observing Blaire, "...Perhaps you are in need of some sort of protection while you attempt to find aforementioned civilization? Or perhaps just until you are able to make repairs on your ship, in case of some sort of bandit attack?"
He tried to sound as if the bandit attack was imminent, but it did not seem likely. Then again, people never ceased to amaze him (in a negative fashion, of course), and perhaps he would get a little taste of combat before he found a specific job.

Blaire laughed. "We don't exactally have any money. Sorry."
Siek called a few words out, which Blaire replied. It seemed that Siek did not know English.
"We're leaving here soon though, so if you'd like to accompany us until we reach a town you're welcome to." Blaire explained.

Sythiuss shifted his glance to where Siek's voice came from.
"Would your...companion...be alright with that?" he asked, since it was apparent that the creature was unable to speak a common language. Then again, he could assume that Siek calling out to Blaire might have mentioned something along those lines. Whatever language it was, he certainly could not understand it.
He decided that it would be preferable to travel in a group since he was unfamiliar with his surroundings, however, he also did not feel like having any conflict currently. He had to get paid before he decided to start something like that.

Blaire shrugged and called to Siek, seeming to be asking if it would be alright.
A pause, then Siek's head popped out of the ship's door. He stared at Sythiuss a moment, before nodding. "Vrit." He then went back in the ship.
"That's a yes." Blaire said, a smile on his face.

Sythiuss simply nodded and looked at the vessel once more. He was a decent mechanic, due to the fact that his line of work had the "be prepared for any situation" theme to it. However, he was certainly not good enough to simply look at the ship and suddenly realize what parts were the most damaged and how to repair them.
He focused back on Blaire once more. "How did your vessel crash? Engine malefunction? Electromagnetic field? Or perhaps you were attacked?" he said, each question following the other in rapid succession, in turn, expecting each response to be fired from Blaire in the same manner.

Blaire stared at Sythiuss, dumbfounded, as he asked the questioned. He didn't answer until the other was done asking. "It didn't really...crash. Just a rough landing." He rubbed the back of his head. "We were headed to this planet anyway."
Siek hopped out of the ship and walked over to Blaire. He looked at Sythiuss before turning his back to him and walking away. Blaire's head turned quickly and he followed after his fellow kurakushon.
