Sythiuss simply flexed and unflexed his claws and followed after Blaire. He would be sure to repay their kindness by not taking any missions that required them to be slain or harmed. Considering the number of insidious and heneious jobs and crimes commited by Sythiuss, it was a great act of generosity. To the normal entity, it was the twisted kindness of a heartless bounty hunter, which perhaps described it best. He was not sure what to expect from the ship's dock, but he was sure that it was nothing that would surprise him.
All of these thoughts rushed through his head in mere seconds, and once again, he was silent, and his mind was clear.

Blaire and Siek exchanged words in their native language, with Blaire muttering an English word here or there under his breath, mostly curses.
Blaire seemed to be getting nervous, Siek on the other hand was completely calm.
It wasn't long before they reached a small town. "Well then that sh-" Blaire didn't get to finish. He was knocked right off his feet by a tiger. A feminine voice rang in their heads, yelling something in a language just as foreign as the one Blaire and Siek had spoken.
Siek yelled at the tiger, who's head turned to look at him. Blaire yelled back, and the voice rang again. The three seemed to be arguing. It was all jibberish unless you could understand them.
"Alota! Get offa me you-" Blaire yelped, trying to pry a large orange paw off.
You speak English. The female voice seemed shocked.
"Yeah. I do. Siek doesn't though. Now get off you vakwoji kilate!" Blaire snapped.
You want to survive to see a jail cell you'll keep your little mouth shut! You snakes have no business here! The tiger pressed it's paw to Blaire's throat.

Sythiuss could say that on this day, he honestly had no real idea as to what was going on. What seemed to be jibberish was exchanged amongst the two lizard creatures and what looked to be a large cat of prey. He was unsure as to what was going on here, so first, he decided that no matter how fulfilling it would be to dispatch the creature, that it would be unwise to do so, as it could easily be one of the residents of this planet, residents that were willing to offer him work and bounties. He stepped foward, retaining his emotionless pallour, and spoke to the feline.
"For what reason do you engage in hostility against this creature? Surely he had done nothing yet that would earn him your malcontent?" he inquired with a slow, hissing voice. He was never one for charisma, but he had to at least make an attempt...

(I wanna point out that I replaced dirty with the word 'Vakwoji' as it's an insult the Kurakushon use for the Kilates. It would just mean "cold")
Blaire let out a cough as he felt the pressure of the paw.
These Kurakushon filth have been popping up. I know what you're after and you won't get it.
Siek snapped at the tiger, saying something to which the tiger growled.
If you know what is good for you, you'll stay out of this.
"Too embarressed of being a weak Vakwoji Kilate that you've had to find a way to hide as a large Earth mammel?" Blaire grumbled.
Call me a Vakwoji Kilate again and I'll rip your throat out. I'm sure your body will serve as enough evidence that you freaks have come here.
"You seem like one of the early ones who still resented us. How are you still ali-" Blaire coughed as pressure was applied to his throat.

Sythiuss, from what he observed, had three clear choices. Choice number one, he could get rid of this cat-like creature, save the life of Blaire, who had offered him his kindness, and become a full-fledged criminal for slaying what could possibly be dominant race on this planet, and get himself into a mess he never wanted to get into, number two, he could turn on the two who had offered him hospitality, and earn the favour of these creatures, and perhaps pull in a bit of money for his trouble, or, finally, he could simply walk away, as the cat creature seemed to be ignoring him, and he could just rid himself of all responsibility whatsoever.
He still felt it to be unwise to kill this creature, no matter whether or not he was capable of doing so, or any other factor that would be beneficial to the beast's death, it was simply not a good idea. He had no moral objection to betraying these two, but then again, perhaps whatever it was they were searching for would be of value to him, and perhaps he could take a bit of his own and make a profit from it. And walking away would remove him from profit in general.
It was then that Sythiuss decided it would be best to make a forth option.
He walked up to the tiger and tapped it on the shoulder somewhat roughly with the bottom of his claws, so as not to accidentally impale the creature's shoulder. He immediatly had a feeling that he was going to regret this descision, but then again, there were always ways to turn adversity into profit. Perhaps this was one of those times.

The tiger's head snapped in Sythiuss' direction. I would appreciate it if you would not interfere. If you were to do that, I would have to do some things I don't want to. Please think wisely. Her head turned back to Blaire. Now tell me why you're here!
"Why we're here has nothing to do with you Vakwoji Kilates!" Blaire snapped. Siek quickly said a few things before the tiger could crush Blaire's neck.
A growl rumbled in the tiger's throat as she pulled away from Blaire, stepping back away. Blaire muttered a few things as he stood up, things that caused louder growls from the orange beast. You're free to go...for now. With that she ran off in the woods, but in truth she was very close by, watching.

Sythiuss laughed, perhaps one of the more malignant sounds of the universe. His mandibles clacked, and a strange, gutteral noise errupted from his throat. As the noise that was supposedly laughter died from his throat, it ended with a long, drawn hiss. The audacity of this creature had amused him. It seemed to be a tradition to threaten strangers, and he imagined that a practice such as that would eventually come to bite these creatures on their hindparts.
"...Do you mind explaining to me exactly what that was all about? I can assume that perhaps it has something to do with racism of sorts, hm?" Sythiuss hissed as he watched the creature 'retreat' into the forest. He resisted the urge to laugh when he realized that they were probably being watched. A surprise attack would do little good if at least one person was not surprised by it. He awaited Blaire to shed some light on the situation.

"Yes." Blaire muttered, wiping off his pants as he stood. "She is a Vakwoji kilate. I can sense it despite that feline appearence..." He continued muttering. "Kurakushon are essentially Kilate, but the Vakwoji don't accept that, though they've mostly forgotten. Long story short, we've evolved differently than them and they don't accept us." He looked at Sythiuss. "She seems to know the Prince is here and his army..." He trailed off then.

"...Prince? So this location's government is based on a monarchy, then?" Sythiuss inquired. He was much more interested in the aforementioned army, but, he supposed that he could wait until he obtained some basic information that would provide more practical help.

"Earth? I don't know about their main government, but ours and the Vakwoji Kilate's governments are." Blaire explained. "She threatened to take us to their queen and king, odd that she put the queen first. I'm guessing she works for them directly."
Siek looked around blankly, not understanding what they were saying, only knowing they were saying something about the "cold ones."

Sythiuss muttered something in his own, dead language, and resumed questioning.
"...And what of this army you speak of?" he inquired simply, crossing his arms as the conversation carried on.

"Prince Kukura came here with a small army to attack the Vakwoji. Other than that, I have no clue." Blaire said, shrugging. "Siek and me aren't in any way with the army or government. We live in a ghost town and we steal what we need. We're not exactally law-abiding, but we don't have much choice."
Siek said something to Blaire, who relayed the message to Sythiuss. "We should get moving."
And with that, the two Kurakushon began walking again.

He became silent, and followed them once more. He followed the two, scenting that the creature that had attempted to end Blaire's life beforehand. He was sure now that she was watching them, attempting to learn whether or not these two lizard men where what they truly said they were. He bore himself extremely nonchalantly, as if he were ignorant to everything around him (which wasn't too big of a lie), but kept as close as a watch on this creature as she did on them. At the single snap of a twig, a single breath, he would be able to bring out his weapons and go in for the kill.
He supposed he would continue to travel with these creatures as long as necessary. There would be no point in staying with them any longer once they entered a city, and being associated with generally disliked creatures would prove to be a danger to his own life as well. They had also admitted to being broke, so, once both of their purposes were served, there was no reason in his mind to be watching their backs for them.

Siek and Blaire exchanged conversation every now and then in their strange language.
At some point along their route, the tiger left, either bored, or disappeared to ambush them later.
"So cold..." Blaire muttered, shivering. Despite the fact that it was quite warm, the two creatures seemed to act like it was winter.

Sythiuss was amused once again. How exactly did these creatures hope to survive? He was unsure whether or not it was a smart question to ask if they were cold-blooded or not, given the previous exchange, however, he decided to keep his mandibles clamped.
He began letting his mind wander, thinking of other contracts, of his past...his dead race...
He was truly alone, more alone than he could ever imagine...but did he care?
He could not answer it yet, but he became more and more pensive as they continued onward. Misery loved company, he supposed.
