Name: Kesh Boris'
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Race: Segg*
Clothes: Kesh is mostly seen in his suit, which is a pale silver. His helmet is accommodated to shape his reptilian head . The back of the helmet separates into three angles, one at about the center top of the head, the other two ride the jaw line and go past the shoulders. In the back sits a long metal rod that ends at a point and serves as a antenna. A plate of metal it an similar shape of covers the top of the helmet above and completing the shape of the orange reflective visor. Bulky armored plates hug the shoulder huge rims on each end. The breast plate curves from the arm pit down to the naval in a Dull "v" shape, on the plate is painted a symbol of religious worth, the paint chipped and worn in many places.
A second layer of armor is underneath this one and covers the entire torso. The top of each leg are two more metal rims that go a little above the hip bone. On The right arm sits the mighty Calefactor! The left, a heavily armored upper arm and forearm complete with a huge pose-able metal glove. Cascading from under his torso is an ornamental cloth that drapes down to his feet. The cloth bears religious symbols which he carries into battle with pride!
Hair color and style:... He has no hair...-.-
Eye color: Brown, reptilian shape
Personality: The handy work of the gods is everywhere, in places of natural beauty, in mighty crusaders, in soaring temples of colossal magnificence, and in their worshipers. Kesh Boris' takes the works of his gods into his own hands, through battle and smiting of evil. In combat he is Stalwart and gallant, bringing everything he has to the field, putting it on the line. He fights for honor, pride and divine favor and only when the gods demand it. He is a believer in the Order of Phyrrix. (I plan to put all the gritty details and lore of Phyrrix in his character extras so don’t sweat it.)
Kesh tries to be a tolerable person to be around, despite being very boring in moments of no action. He finds it a necessity to think before his mouth moves, not wanting to say anything that would offend others. He minds his manners, especially to females, in such a way that some would consider it knightly. Sexual relationships are not his priority, he is caught flat footed and dumbfounded when confronted by women he finds attractive. He would much rather have allies then friends, but takes them both whenever the opportunity rises.
Kesh lacks a basic education but was unprofessionally taught reading and simple arithmetic. Most of his cumulative knowledge would be of the three books of his religious chapter: The Book of Valor, The Book of Judgment, and the book of Chivalry. Things like science are very unfamiliar to him, but intrigue him none the less. He is open minded to the personalities and ideas of others, seeing them as ways he can build on himself.
Weapon: His primary weapon is his Calefactor, a grafted gun that has multiple elements of weaponry. Buttons and switches on the device can trigger the arm to transfigure itself to the proper mode. Each ranged weapon on the device uses a different type of ammunition, some more expensive then others.
-Blaster: This is the neutral position of the Calefactor. Its rapid fire capability and cheap energy makes it ideal for all situations, although it deals minimal damage. The gun fires concentrated solar energy, thus how the battery pack recharges itself (in other words it does not run out of ammo!). those who are hit by the sun-powered rounds, suffer flash third degree burns, which causes excruciating pain but vary little damage to the body itself. Multiple hits in the same area are a different story. Silencing devices are possible for this weapon.
-Arc projector: The arc projector expels a continuous arc of electrical energy at the target. Take note their must be a target for the weapon to even take effect, other wise the gun would gets sputter and spark. All and any creatures in the intended direction are automatically hit by the grounding electricity. In the case of multiple targets, each would suffer less damage and negative repercussion the more their are, so a solitary target would take the full hit while three would take 1/3. Foes who are struck be the energy are likely to be dazed briefly, again the chances are even more off chance for multiple targets. Power fed to the weapon comes straight from the suits energy reserves so it is used sparingly.
-Vibro sword: When a trigger is released Two spring loaded blades on opposite sides of the calefactor scissors together at the end, forming a sword. Energy is fed to the blades, causing them to vibrate faster then the human eye can see. This helps the blade cut through objects and also repels energy weapons. In this mode, the calefactor cannot fire until the blades are returned to their neutral positions.
Familiar: none
Other:
Abilities:
-Adrenaline high: when kesh demands it, the power suit can inject him with a potent shot of adrenaline. At this point, Kesh is more enduring then normal. His stamina can withstand more and he would not drop after a massive amount of damage (this does not include death) He returns to normal after about 5 minutes ( 5 posts). Only one shot can be loaded each day, it is refilled when kesh reloads.
-Smite Evil: Kesh calls the power of the gods in the name of justice for a devastating blow. the ability cannot be used more then once a day. It also cannot be used against anyone except those who are evil and are purposefully committing crime against the law or humanity.
-No fear of death: Kesh shows no fear to any man or beast. He is the other hand, shaken by things he has not seen before, like magic, or creatures of new types. In effect he cannot be intimidated to flee or take actions against his own will.
-Battle mind: Kesh is familiar with common tactics and strategy used in combat. He knows how to use most modern weaponry. He is also trained in the use of his vibro-sword.
*race:The Segg are a semi humanoid that have evolved from Jurassic ancestors. Despite their appearance, they are generally kind and noble, save for young men who tend to be brash and sometimes violent. They take the statement that they are reptiles, offensive. They, in many ways, attempt to act like humans would, trying to gain acceptance among them. The average full grown male Segg stands about 6"4'and weighing about 230Lb's. Through evolution they have become warm blooded creatures and stand fully erect except for their necks which are slightly craned. The tails have also been reduced to a pointy stub. Segg used to be amphibians but this too has changed, causing small gills on their necks to be visible but unusable. Segg are rare anywhere, except for their home system.
Kesh's skin is tough and a dark green. He is 6"6' and weighs about 243 lbs. His facial features are common among Segg. His reptilian-like head has frills that start of the on the top and run down the back of the spine, somewhat like an iguana. He has brown eyes that are in a constant squint. Undeveloped horns appear around the brow and law-line.
History: Kesh was born on the desert planet of Al-Ishtus in a far away system. Al-Ishtus is a very small planet that has very little intelligent inhabitants because few can tolerate its harsh environment. It is summer mostly all year-round except for a short, two month spring. Human are dominant on the planet but races seldom ever see each other because of their natural seclusion from each other. Individual races reside in small communities with a populations of about 50-100. It is in these spread out communities that economics is held as an individual cell, only making contacts with others for trade and sometimes alliance for war.
He was born into a family of the owners of a run down tavern that only made enough to keep the business, and themselves, alive. Segg spent his days in early childhood playing games of pretend with his young friends. At the age of 7 his father died of cancer, he was too young to grasp the concept of death but the image of his fathers corpse still burns in his mind. Soon after the death of her husband, Kesh's mother started to consume deadly amounts of opium (this was a common form of drug abuse on Al-Ishtus). He did not want to burden his mother son he gave up his childhood games to work at the tavern. Not long after his 12th birthday he mother went mad due to an opium high and wandered into the desert...she was never seen again.
Kesh, orphaned by the mishap, was taken in by a local monetary. He was well taken care of and was expected to perform a number of daily chores to pull his own weight. He was made to worship the Order of Phyrrix to which the monastery was devoted to. He first learned to read and write by reading and copying the ancient books of Valor, Judgment, and Chivalry. He was taught to take up the sword in the name of justice. The holy word to the Phyrrix became etched into his very soul, he learned that self sacrifice was the only the beginning of self atonement. With these teachings, a warriors spirit was born. He vowed that as long as he had breath, the wicked would not go unpunished, and the weak would be safe...
At the age of 16, he was legally allowed to register to the Galactic Fleet, in which he presented as a request to the earl of the monastery. The earl thought on the contrary, he wanted the boy to join the monasteries military chapter and fight for the church. Kesh thought this idea was dull and thought that the universe needed him elsewhere. So he fled the monastery and registered to the fleet without the churches blessing, something that haunted him as a sin later in life.
His early military career consisted of him working as armed patrol at numerous bases. When he was about 20, dispute broke out among neighboring planets over territory and trade. The small republic of Al-Ishtus sought to expand itself through petty black market trade. The back water business became the sectors leading supplier of heavy arms and weapons of mass destruction. Other planets soon found out about the shady dealings of Al-Ishtus and took action to cut off illegal trade routes. This conflict soon broke into an all-out war! While Al-Ishtus had many enemies, they also had many allies whose business's were in jeopardy due to the dispute. The battles that proceeded over the next year would not be seen in any paper or heard on any telecom, these were the type of battles that painted shame on a nation. Ruthless tactics of sabotage and inhumane ambush were used in such a manner that many of the superior officers in charge of the operations had to change their names.
Kesh saw a few of the battles but all were in defense of the planet. The only real battle he saw was the end of the war. It was on the mining planet of Heboda'. It would be the changing moment of his life...
Their were so many powers involved that all sides were lost on who was friend or foe, but the true incentive of most was incognito. this was the climax, the stormhead of the underground war. Sky battles between cruisers ensued above the planets surface and by the time ground troops arrived, they were fighting among a graveyard of the fallen vessels. Kesh and his company stayed loyal to the galactic fleet unlike many of his peers who had their own prerogative. It was at that moment that Kesh realized that their was no honor among these men. They had no sense of pride justice in the way they took the lives of others. The ones he walked with were monsters, callous deceivers of their own morals.
The battle raged until the break of next dawn. Many resorted to fistfights or booby traps to dispose of their enemy. Kesh stood shocked in disbelief at what he was witnessing. He was disgusted at the shameful acts of his former comrades...so much that he raised his gun and killed them all... It all happened so fast. The fury of whathe thought was right burnd in him like seering coals. He felt like a conduit of the gods will, in turn burning him to a hallow husk.
Kesh has never spoke about this moment to anyone, and not one day goes by without wondering if this action could ever called justice. Until then, he seeks atonement.
After the war Kesh settled down and began working for a small trading federation as an armed gaurd. This occupation has him travaling the galaxy in trading vessels.
