He continued to hesitate. On one hand, the food was inviting. It knotted his empty stomach and made him want to launch himself at it. On the other hand, he was locked up in a room....if he made a wrong move, this man could punish him. He said nothing more, body shaking.
Numbly and slowly he inched towards the two remaining bowls. He stopped when he reached them, staring down at the food he had been offered. It smelled delicious to the starving boy. With trembling arms, he reached for one of the bowls and took it before scampering back to his corner.
Huddled up with his food, he waited a moment. He watched the man to see what he would do, and when he made no move to hurt the child, the small kilate began to eat.

The man watched the boy closely but he made no moves to stop him or to do anything. Good, he is finally eating, the man thought as he watched the small boy start to eat. Even if the boy did not completely trust him, it was a start. The boy had gained enough trust, or hunger, to eat the food.
This now just left the girl to be the only one who has yet to eat anything, or to make a move. His eyes left the boy and fell upon Sakti. Her eyes were glued on the boy, she watched every movement of his, trying to see if the boy was about to drop dead or something.
However, when the boy made no signs of sudden tiredness or illness, her eyes left him and fell to the last soup that was there. The debate still raged in her mind, as one sided tried to win her over with uncertain and distrust while the other tried to win her over with the promises the man had made.
“Why have you not eaten yet?” The man asked her; he wanted to get all the children to eat, so that this could finally be over and they could move on to other items.
Sakti glanced up at the man before looking back at the food, ignoring what he had said. He shouldn’t rush me, Sakti thought irritably. Maybe I should just dump the soup on his head, that could make him shut up. The thought buzzed through her mind but she made no motions to act upon.
Finally, after still seeing that the boy was still not effected by anything he ate and that Knajee was still alive, but asleep, Sakti got up and took her bowl of soup. She sat back down on the cushion and proceeded to eat it.
“Good, now when everyone is finished eating, we will be able to continue.” The man stated as he waited for the two children to finish eating. Once they were done, he stood up and opened the door.
“You are to follow me.” He told them, as his eyes looked to Knajee before walking over to the boy and picking him up, after deciding not to wake him.

There came a small groan as knajee was lifted. It was very quiet, emitted as a bit of air pushed from his lips. His forehead crinkled some and his eyes seemed to tighten but relaxed after a moment. He didn't open them. The boy remained in his sleep, now resting in the man's arms.

The nameless child followed after him, moving much more quickly than before. He was out of that room! He wasn't trapped anymore! He wasn't in a good mood, but he definitely wasn't scared anymore. He glanced around as they walked.

Sakti followed behind the man, trying to keep several feet distance between him. Her eyes wondered around when they left the room and went back into the hallway that she had arrived in at first. Her eyes stared at the torches for a moment as she wondered how it burned without smoke, however her attention was averted from the torches when the man began to speak and lead them down the hallway.
“My name is Kiol.” He started first with his name so that this conversation could possibly seem more friendly. “I would like to know all of your names. Though, if you do not want to tell me your names, I would make a name up for you.” Kiol told them. He was not planning on having to fight to get to know their names. They were already stubborn enough with eating.
Sakti hesitated for a moment before deciding it was better to tell Kiol, than not to tell him her name. “It’s Sakti.” She said, looking up at him and then remembering about the sleeping boy. “The half dead boy’s name is Knajee.”
When the hallway turned to the right, it looked exactly the same, with the exception that it was longer and dotted with more doors. Once again, Sakti wondered exactly where they are.

"I...don't have a name..." The boy replied, finally giving in to saying that. Though he glanced around a lot, he didn't pay much attention to his surroundings.

Kiol was silent for a moment as he glanced down at the nameless boy, thinking about what he should do about him. The boy needed a name, but what? After a short while of consideration he finally came up with a name; Lorek.
"You are Lorek now." He told the boy simply as he took a turn and stated to lead them up a flight of stairs, which held the same torches.Kiol took a small moment to debate about where he should began with telling them all that they need to know. There was quite a bit of information, but some stuff could be left for now and told later.
"First, you are expected to learn what you will be taught. Some stuff may be harder to learn than other stuff which is understandable. However, ignoring the lessons or bluntly fooling off will not be tolerated. Though, do not fear any kind of physical, or emotional punishment. The punishment will only be having more of the work to do." He stated. Kiol figured that telling them what they will be doing and some of the expectations of them would be best.
"Lorek sounds stupid." That was Sakti's one and only comment. She said nothing about what Kiol stated their expectations to be. In fact, she nearly did what he said not to. Here Kiol was, speaking and telling them information and the only thing that she said was about the kid's new name, did she just ignored all that was said?
Despite this very strong urge to, Kiol managed to refrain from hitting Sakti. To Kiol, she did not even listen, which anger him greatly. He had specifically said not to ignore. Was she trying to test him, to see if he would hold true to his word? Or was she just retarded?

Lorek? The boy didn't really care much about the name, or how it sounded to Sakti. In truth, he thought everyone else's names were strange and stupid. He thought names in general were stupid. He didn't comment on what Kiol said, listening, but not really caring that much.

Once at top of the flight of stairs, Kiol opened up a door that lead into a grand room. The room, like everything else before was light up the smoke-less torches, however instead of one every few feet, there was probably a hundred, all lining up in a zigzag pattern up the wall to the ceiling. The ceiling it self was nearly a hundred feet above them in a shape of a dome. The dome was decorated in a confusing painting, with various dragons weaving in and out of it, among kilates. There were several strange symbols circling the painting, some going down to the wall, those of which seemed to be curved. The whole painting was done in elaborate colors, especially the kilate's in it.
The room had about three other doors, all of which were closed at the moment. Unlike the doors that were downstairs, these doors were decorated in designs and symbols, all of which seemed to hold some kind of a meaning.
"There are several things that you need to be shown, before being told." Kiol began speaking, this mind on a very important subject, which he has yet to decide to divulge. "You three will be shown this when Knajee is awake and well enough to do so. So, as Knajee rests, the emphasis will be on other matters. New clothes will be provided to you, which you cannot deny you need. I will also introduce you to the place you will be staying and other important rooms." He spoke, waiting for a moment in what was becoming to him a vain hope of a reasonable response of some kind.
Sakti held true to Kiol's vain hope and was silent. Her eyes being drawn to the ceiling, which she was surprised anything could be that big, and the rest of the room. She wondered what this room could be for. Who in the world would need such a room?

Knajee let out a slight cough. It was quiet and muffled but made his body shake a little in Kiol's arms. A moment later it was followed by several more. They started out soft but got a little harder as they went. his forehead crinkled up a bit as his face took on a slightly uncomfortable look before relaxing. The coughs died away about as quickly as they had come and the black haired boy was silent once more.

Silence and coughs. Here he was, trying to explain the kid's new situations to them and all they do is remain silent and the kid who is asleep cough. Kiol had to closed his eyes for a moment to force himself not to show any agitation as he tried to remind himself that the kids probably did not know what to say. That the kids were probably amaze or confused or mentally changed or something.
Once some of his annoyance subsided, part of Kiol thought about Knajee's cough. It did not look that good and sounded rather bad. Was the boy getting sick? Or did he just need some rest? Hopefully the kid just needed rest. He will be sure to keep an eye on him though, to make sure that the cough does not develop into anything more serious. Which just causes another problem and pain...
After leading the other two kids to a door to their right, they came into another hallway. At the end, the hallway turned off to both the left and the right. However, this hallway was wider and taller than the previous ones. It also had decorations, carvings of dragons and strange symbols. There were several doors along the wall, going in an every other sort of manner, with one door being on the right then the next on the left. Like the doors in the grand room, these too were decorated lavishly.
The hallway turned to the left, this one adding in a dead on though, with only three doors. These doors were different than the last, since they were just plain wood.
"Pick a room and that would be your room. Chose wisely since it will be a long while before you will be getting another room. For now, you will be free to explore the area, though any place that has a locked door is prohibited." Kiol told them, after the silence of the walk.
Sakti glanced up at Kiol a bit before walking to the closest doors. "Can I search all the rooms first?" She asked, as she opened the door and glanced inside. Inside, there was a large comfortable looking bed which were covered in green and red sheets, with a bed frame having various amounts of dragon and symbolic carvings on it. There was also a dresser and a desk, both of superb craftsmanship.
"No."
"Why not?" The girl demanded, turning to the man to glare at him. She wanted to search all of the rooms, to see if there was anything hidden in anywhere and to get the best room.
"Because each room has privacy to it." He replied simply.
