He didn't like this, didn't like it at all. The red-haired Halfbreed trudged along after the blue-haired Hanyou. The two had been traveling for days now, and were completely lost. Cynyr was sure that Ran had no idea where he was going, and neither did he.
Cynyr was exhausted, more than exhausted, and just wanted to rest..to go back. He cursed himself for allowing Ran to guilt him into coming along. His arm still bothered him, he was a dirty mess, and to top it off he was so tired that he was close to tripping over his own feet.
Ran was growing angrier and angrier with each passing moment. They weren't getting anywhere and both of them were miserable.
---
It was about a week later before anything happened, though it certainly wasn't what they were hoping for. They were taking a break for the night, though Cynyr knew it was going to be a short one.
"Ran...this is hopeless..." The Halfbreed said, sighing. He felt like they might as well have been going in circles.
Ran didn't respond. He'd grown angry, whereas Cynyr had grown weary. The differences showed on them, Cynyr had become unkempt and gained a tired expression, whereas Ran had practically turned into a statue.
Cynyr sighed and stood up, nearly falling over. "I'm gonna go hunt then..." He said, knowing Ran would not respond, before turning into his fox form and running off.
---
Bane too, had been hunting and upon the sight of a rabbit went in for the kill. He saw another fox going for it, and growled. He lept at the other predator, who simply whimpered and drew back. Cynyr had recognized his brother right away, but it took Bane a moment as he hadn't been paying much attention. This distraction cost them both the rabbit.
Bane grimaced at the condition Cynyr was in. He looked weak and dejected. Cynyr had always been one to take care of his appearance, yet here he stood, a dirty reflection of before he had left. He'd even begun to grow a bit of stubble. The red-haired brother didn't care though. He didn't see much to care about lately.
---
"Hey guys...I'm back...didn't catch anything to eat though..." Bane called, approaching the camp where Brave, Weasel, Will, Maro, and Ryu were, Cynyr and Ran following behind.

As usually when Bane came back from the camp, Ryu bonded towards him, his tail wagging enthusiastically as he jumped up on Bane and licked his face. The golden retriever paid no attention to Ran and Cynyr at first, wanting to greet his master before sniffing at those two.
Brave’s one eyebrow rose above the other in a confused manor. “But you brought two more hungry mouths?” He questioned, wondering why Bane hadn’t gotten anything to eat but instead brought two more people, both by their looks were probably hungry.
Maro eyed the two new people with apprehension. The young boy didn’t like how Cynyr looked, messy, dirty, disheveled, that probably met that something bad happened to Cynyr, which could then cause something bad to happen to them. Then there was Ran, just looking like a statue, which looked mean to Maro. Both Ran and Cynyr, Maro did not like at first glances and drew back some. He will trust Bane that they are not trouble, and he will show his trust by not speaking up at all, but he just didn’t feel comfortable at the moment talking to them.
“What happened to Cynyr?” Queried Will, looking at the halfbreed with a bit of surprise at the poor state he was in. Will did not know Cynyr that well but he did remember those times when they met up.
Weasel remained silent, her eyes on Cynyr at first before going to Ran. There was something about him that was familiar to her....

Bane patted Ryu on the head before sitting down under a tree, a bit away from the others.
"I didn't intend to bring them here Brave, but one's my brother, and though he's an idiot, I won't abandon him." Bane said harshly, staring at Brave as if daring him to fight about it.
Cynyr sighed. "I don't...want to cause any trouble.." He spoke in a sad mumble, staring at the ground. Will's question caught his attention. "I..we were lost.."
Ran growled. "We're not lost, and we're fine." He didn't like the idea of getting help from a group of thieves.

"So, instead of hunting, you decided to find your moron of a brother? Yeah, that's really smart. Now all of us get to be hungry together, how fucking fun." Anger rippled across Brave's face. He was hungry and had been counting on Bane getting something to eat and even if Bane or someone else does go and hunt, there'll just be less food to go around because of the two new mouths.
"Bane, who's the blue hair guy?" Weasel asked, the face was a bit familiar but she couldn't figure out from where. She had a small feeling taht whoever he is, he wasn't usually welcome around them.
"If you aren't lost then leave and be fine." Will responded to Ran simply before a small grin crossed his face. He found it Ran's expression to be a bit amusing, it made him think of some retarded clown trying to act tough but ending up blowing his head off.

Bane glared at Brave. "I'm not heartless, and I ran into him while hunting. If you have a problem with the fact that they're here, then go find your own food." He then turned into a hawk and flew off, both to escape before he lost control, and to go hunt.
"My name is Ran..." The blue-haired hanyou answered, leaning against a tree and crossing his arms. He stared blankly at Weasel and shot a glare to Will.
Cynyr felt unwanted, his weary expression growing wearier as he slumped down against the tree nearest him. He was tired and he suddenly felt weak and useless.

Brave let out a string of curse when Bane turned into a hawk and flew off. Anger jolted through Brave as a stream of throughts flooded his mind. He hated that Bane just flew off without him being able to retort, he hated that Bane could lose control, lastly he hated the fact that he was still hungry. With a glare at the rest of them, Brave stormed off, planning on trying to get something to eat.
"Ran, huh? That's an...odd name." Weasel stated, realizing that Ran is the prince of Kitsu. A slight thought went through Weasel's mind, wondering if Ran realize how many times they've robbed that city. But that doesn't matter, Ran won't be able to do anything about it.
Will just grinned a bit more before looking away, ignoring the glare and watching Brave stormed off. "Moron." He muttered, quiet enough so that Brave would not hear him.
The golden retriever let out a small whine as Bane flew away, though soon the dog was distracted by investigating the new people. First he went over to Cynyr, recognizing the smell of Bane's younger brother. After a quick sniff, Ryu started to cover Cynyr in dog slobber.

Cynyr patted Ryu on the head absentmindedly, paying little attention to the licks he was being given. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, hoping to sleep for a bit.
Bane would come back shortly with a rather large deer. It was plenty for all of them. His eyes scanned the area when he noticed Brave wasn't there. Brave had always been his friend...what was happening to their friendship now? Ignoring this, he worked on preparing the venison.

After giving Cynyr several lays of slobber, Ryu went over to Ran, sniffing him and looking up at the hanyou. The dog's tail was wagging a lot as he started to lick Ran's hand, trying to get Ran to pet him.
Maro went over to Bane when he came back with the deer and watched as the halfbreed prepate the food. There was a hungry look in the boy's eyes as he stared at the dead deer, trying to be patient and wait for the food to be ready.
The others remained silent and watchful, with no signs of Brave returning.

Ran pushed the golden retriever away, not liking that Ryu was licking him.
Bane was silent as he prepared the food, and silent as he passed it out to everyone. All the portions were equal, except for Maro's, which had more pieces than the rest. He remained silent as he ate, staring up at the sky.
Cynyr ate slowly, staring down at the ground for a minute or so between bites. He ended up not even eating half of it, staring off absently.

Ryu presisted with Ran, trying to get the hanyou to give him some kind of pat or pet or scratch, to the point where the dog started to jump up on Ran. A small whimper started to escape from the dog as Ran kept on pushing him away. He wasn't even distracted by the arrival of food.
Maro quickly ate his portions of the meat and was soon started to look around for anyone who didn't seem hungry. His eyes rested on Cynyr and his half finished portion, wondering if the halfbreed was going to finish his food.

Ran continued to push Ryu away until the dog left him alone.
Bane stared at the fire for a moment before standing. "I'm going to go find Brave..." He muttered, and took off running, changing into a hawk and flying as he did so.
Cynyr remained how he was. Silent.

Eventually the dog gave up on Ran and padded over to Will and laid down next to him, whining a bit when Bane took off, then was silent.
Brave would eventually be spotted by the shores of a small pond close to the camp. He stood at the shore, throwing stones into the pond and watching them skip across the water or sink with a splash. At the moment, Brave didn't have the attention span to go out to hunt for himself, he was too pissed. So he had spent the time trying to vent his anger out on the stones and water, though that helped little.

Brave stayed at the pond for nearly a half an hour and only left when he ran out of small smooth rocks nearby to use for skippings stones. During the whole time, he hadn't even glanced over in the direction towards hawk-Bane. When he started to walk away from the pong, he thought about going for a hunt and catching something to eat but that requires time and patience. At the moment, patience was something that he was greatly lacking.
With an annoyed sigh, he started to head back to the camp, figuring that either Bane or someone else had gone off to hunt and hopefully brought back food. Slightly, Brave hoped that Bane wasn't around at the camp. He really didn't feel like having an one sided arguement to Bane. Once again, resentment and anger rose up in Brave at the fact that Bane could lose control of himself if anged.

When Bane saw Brave return he sighed mentally and circled twice before flying off again.
It took him some time, but Bane eventually wandered back into the camp carrying a rabbit. He looked tired as he wordlessly sat down and tossed the rabbit to Brave.
"Here. I don't need you starving yourself," He grumbled, stretched his arms, and looked around.
Ran had fallen asleep, arms crossed, under the tree he'd been leaning against. Cynyr was still staring wordlessly, looking like he was about to fall asleep as well.
