A sigh came from the demon hunter as he looked down at his purchase. He and his partner had gotten the lynx demon cheap off a group of witches, though it was too young at the moment to earn them much on the black market. In her demon form, the lynx demon only looked about seven years old, meaning in her lynx form she would be rather small yet, and her fur wouldn't bring much of a profit.
"Looks like it's taken a blow to the head..." The hunter's partner pointed out.
There was a bit of a gash on the demons head, though it was hidden by her hair. It had obvioulsy been bleeding rather badly shortly after what had caused the blow since blood was mixed into her brown locks and ran down her neck and onto the top of her shirt. At the moment her eyes were closed and she was unconcious.
"Looks like we'll have to clean it then..." The hunter sighed. They didn't want the blood to soil the soft lynx fur that normally would earn them a pretty penny.
An older, bigger lynx would get them better money and they were planning on perhaps keeping her locked up until she was big enough for them to harvest her coat, though if she died from the head wound it was no big loss. They would still get more money then what they'd payed for her.
The two hunters got to work, washing the blood from the small lynx. They didn't pay attention when it came to how they handled the wounded area, causing her to cry out. Their cares were not on how the lynx demon was feeling and if they hurt her it didn't matter. She was regaining consciousness a bit, but she didn't struggles much as they worked, seeming confuzed, dazed, and even a bit unresponsive towards what was going on. Once the demon hunters were finished, the lynx demon was thrown carelessly into a small cage and left there for the time being.
