No matter how hard Kesh tried to follow the conversation, it was inevidable... He had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. He thought that sibling rivalry was immature and petty, but he would not be so quick to judge. These matters were obviously serious.
He began to ponder how this Miku character had found them. How long were they followed? Did he find Kamo in result of Kesh's accident? Did Miku bide his time and watch Kesh's camp. If this was true, then Miku was not one to be underestimated. He was the worst kind of enemy that you could confront... an enemy you cant see...
Kesh slowly made his way over to Ital. "perhaps we should give them some time alone?" He said under his breath and continued to walk as if he didn't say a thing. "were going to go get some breakfast." he announced.

Miku nodded as if he hadn't heard what Kesh had said, it seemed that he underestimated their hearing ability. "Do not worry about getting me anything. I have already eaten." He didn't seem threatening at all as he spoke now, unlike when he was talking to Kamo a moment ago.
"I'm good too..." Kamo muttered, he hadn't heard what Kesh had said, too focused on his meal it seemed, though in truth he was lost in thought. He'd always regretted the events of three years ago, in truth it had started long before that, but those few days were the worst.
It seemed that Miku was going to leave Kamo alone for a bit.

Ital glanced at Kesh, her keen ears twitching as they cought the sound of his voice faintly. She turned, starting to follow silently. She'd stated earlier that she'd already eaten but understoodit was Kesh's excuse in leaving them alone and made no mention of what she'd said earlier. She doubted Kamo had noticed.
"A wise choice." She said quietly once they had walked for a bit. "I was slightly wondering if you would let them go or intervine."

Kesh continued to walk by her side, "If I thought he meant ill-will, I would have intervened. Though he may be sly, he does have a sence of honor. My code says to trust those who wish to be trusted." he didn't turn to talk to her, he kept his head forward on his path.
once they were far enough out of range, he turned to her and crossed his arms. "well, I believed that you mentioned that you knew a place where I could be some fruit."
(shit post. I got nothin' right now.)

Miku and Kamo would exchange a few words while the two were gone, but nothing more than that.
(Bah. Whee. I'm planning on having something happen soon, just this post is poop X3')

"I doubt he ment for you to think of him as sly," Ital told him, a pleasent tone in her voice as she walked. "He was simply.. quiet. I believe, at times, you over analyze us. From what you have said, and from what I have seen you are a person quite accostumed to a militial life... I assume you are used to being around soldiers of some sort, trained and ready to act certain ways. It would probably be good to keep in mind that we are not the soldiers you are used to, just.. people."
"If I assume wrong, please forgive me," she added, smiling slightly. She'd taken the lead by now and started to make her way through the thick vegetation. Before long she'd taken him to a small cluster medium sized trees. Each tree held a collection of brightly colored fruits ranging from red to orange to pink. She came to a stop and glanced over at him. "There is the fruit I mentioned."

Kesh stood and looked up at the trees with his hands on his hips. He stood and pondered which were good and which wernt quit ripe yet. In the back of his mind he thought about what Ital said. Does his intuitive nature backfire? What were Itals true intentions in telling him this? He did not view people as clones. Soldiers were people too. Just because a warrior doesnt show it doesnt mean that he isnt scared out of his wits on the battle-field. He reminesced on all the times that he cried himself when he realized how far from home he was... and how close to death he ventured.
"When a man puts on armor, he is still a man. He still doubts himself... she still fears for her own life... They still feel regret for murder. Dogs of the military still yipe when whipped. Emotionally we are not so different, what might make you cry will tear me up inside... I wont show it to you... but Ill cry myself to sleep that night." He didnt want to argue with her. He wanted her to realize that the monsters that she imagined were... Just people.
He took a guess on what kind of fruit were good and grabed a pink one, and bit into it firmly. As his reptilian teeth broke the skin, the juices burst and flowed down his chin... It was a unique taste... but something that he could get used to. He wiped that juice from his chin as he chewed.
(OK, that was really emo... Im listening to imogen heap... what do you expect...)

( Curse you now I have to go listen to the only Imogen Heap song in my inventory because you mentioned it. >.>; Anywho, Shikaru won't have anything to post until Ital and Kesh get back to the camp. I've been given permission to skip her turn for now until the two characters return. )
"In no way did I mean that you, or anyone from the military, were calous." She said in a quiet tone, staring up at one of the fruit. "I assure you that I know you are not. What I meant.." She paused a moment thinking of how to phrase what she wished to get across.
"It seems as if you expect things from us.. that you would expect from soldiers of the Galactic Fleet. I remember you speaking something of comitment yesterday, despite how I think you aimed to speak quietly and not let it be heard. Comitment may have a different value here then with your comrads of the Galactic Fleet. And with Miku, his 'sly' actions were not something tactically thought out to suprise you. I highly doubt it was something he was even thinking of, his feet simply made no noise as he approached. Animal based demons are often times silent by nature when moving... it is not a highly thought out tactic to trick anyone. It can be.. but for the most part it is just our nature."
She spoke quietly, never taking her eyes from the fruit she was thoughtfully looking at as he ate.

"Animal based demons-"
"Demons?" Kesh said with suprise. His idea of demons were much different then the young women that stood before him. He could remember terrifying beasts in books from his childhood. It was made clear to him at an early age that these fiends wanted nothing more then to see poor little Kesh suffer.
And then he remembered that day, a day when his childhood would be permanantly shattered.
(with the permission of the rest of the group my next post will contain a long plot builder story. I will on the other hand post it under stories if thats what the admins want.)

Her head turned towards him and she cocked it to the side slightly. She let out a soft laugh. "Of course. What did you think we were? Did the ears and tail not give it away?" She found it odd and amusing that he hadn't seemed to know, but perhaps it was a normal reaction. Perhaps he hadn't come in much contact with animal based demons such as herself and Kamo before crash landing here.

Her reaction frightened him...
One day, when he was a child, him and his friends were playing 'soldier'. In this game, one of the group was selected to be the leader and that person told everyone else what to do. The trick of the game was to be a good leader, because if you were mean or selfish as the leader then no one would pick you again as the leader.
It was the day when he was the leader, and today's order was to scout the hills. "The hills?!" Said rygar, his 'second in command'. "You know that we aren't supposed to go in the hills, its far too dangerous!" Kesh, young and foolish simply chuckled "Are you scared?" Rygar wanted to look tough in front of Azial, the only female in the group. "No way!!" he said now puffing out his chest. "You heard Kesh guys! move out!"
For a few hours they just wandered the cliffs. They carried stick's and strangely shaped rocks that served as their "weapons".
They came to the mouth of a cave that gave off a strange aura... an aura of evil. Kesh stopped dead in his tracks when he felt the presence of something evil inside the cave... He looked back at the group. "Well, Kesh. Y-your the leader. Go inside and check it out..." He huffed at his "loyal" friends and proceeded in the cave.
Carefully... very carefully he walked in the hole of earth. Soon he heard the sounds of shallow breathing! He didn't know which direction it was coming from.
Suddenly two large red eyes opened in the darkness. Kesh stopped and tried to escape but the monster was far too fast. Wings sprouted from the fiends back and it took flight out of the cave, blowing right past Kesh but bowling him over.
Once in the light, the creature could be seen. A monstrous lion it appeared, with its mane like crimson blood, it coat like brimstone. The demon snagged Rygar by his leg and continued to fly, Rygars cries of pain fading with the distance.
Kesh never spoke of this moment to anyone... But he never forgot...
"G-get away from me..." Said Kesh now quivering. He slowly backed away from Ital, as if she were about to attack.

The was a loud crash from back at the camp, something was happening there. It sounded as if something metallic had clashed against something else that was metallic.

Her smile faded a bit, the pleasent look becoming one of puzzlement a moment. She took a light step back to apease him. "..I see." She said in a quiet tone, a hint of sadness within it now.
"Now that you've realized what we are, it changes things a bit." It was nothing she hadn't seen before. "Am I suddenly a monster? Something frightning and evil?" Her smile returned but it was a melencholy one.
"I'm so-" She stopped, head jerking in the direction of the camp as the loud metalic clang made her ears lower against her head. That certainly didn't sound good. Something was going on back where they had come from...
She turned her head back to Kesh a moment. "I'll do as you wish," she said, planning to go investigate and remove herself from his presence as he seemed to want. In an instant the young woman was gone, replaced by a large velvet black panther with blue markings on its arm and under it's eyes. It sprang off in the direction of the camp.
