I am on board the S.S. Yukular under the orders of a Captain Yuan, a human soldier of some reputation. The ship has been sent by Omega Corps. to negotiate trade in unknown space. The whole thing makes me nervous but CPT. Yuan says that he has been in situations like this before and it went very smoothly, and anyway, we are stocked with enough fire power to combat a small fleet. Never the less...I have my doubts.

Kesh finished typing the last sentence in his journal then rolled away from his PC to observe the text from a distance. His helmet was sitting next to the computer occupying the remaining space of the metal table of his unsurprisingly vacant room, aside from a bunk on the opposite side of the room and a trunk that carried some items of personal significance. He was startled to hear the voice of one of his known subordinates "were closing in on the destination coordinates serg'. Better suit up- oh, looks like your way ahead of us!" he said with a snicker, knowing full well that he was in suit. Kesh rolled his eyes at the obvious crack on his precautionary habits, then grabbed his helmet and put it on his head, making a connection with the suit with a click. then, he placed the Calefactor on the appropriate sockets on his right arm, this was the only real "suiting up" he needed. He ran down the hall following the rest of the armed group, this was just a measure of security, just in case the second party tried anything smart, like someone with a gun keeping their hand close to the holster.
On the main bridge, about 15 troops stood patiently waiting for their permission to proceed in their days activities. All was silent for a few moments, then something colossal smashed into, and rocked the whole ship! The alien vessel that supposedly just wanted to do business had just had just fired a giant Batista at the ship piercing the hull. The device was then retracted, tearing one a huge chunk off the ship , exposing the ship to the open space. As the laws of physics would support, this caused a huge vacuum in the ship and all those who were directly exposed were instantly froze to death, by the cold of space. This elaborate attack easily killed most of the crew and was a common tactic used by space pirates fighting star ships larger then themselves. Kesh was safe from the cold due to his suit but now had to face the danger of being sucked out into space. He quickly grabbed onto a nearby doorway for his life, while his entire body was suspended in mid-air by the suction. All of this happened in a total of about 7 seconds and in about 10 the red alert sounded. Emergency door locks kicked in eliminating the suction and provided a bit of pressure and gravity.
With the new gravity in place, Kesh fell to the floor on his stomach with a loud clang. Pressed the flat of his right fist against the floor and pushed hard, using this a leverage to get his legs under him and on the floor. His first reaction told him to fight, to eliminate this threat in the name of his fallen comrades but he new that the bandits would not let him achieve this opportunity. He had seen this tactic used before, They would not board the ship until all were dead. Chances were that they had very small numbers and they would let the savage environment they created, if not, starvation destroy the rest of their enemies. The only chance he had was to escape, keeping revenge for another day. He moved to the main computer panel of the ship and set the coordinates for a supply drop on the planet they were closest too.
He then began to run to his room but stopped to notice one of his 5 fallen subordinates frozen and long dead. The other 4 were in the same condition. He went to each of them and removed their pendants that represented what company they were under. One of them also had his helmet under his arm, he took this as well and put all the pendants inside of it. Then he ventured to his room to pick up a few belongings, energy batteries, fuel tanks, a hold out pistol and a an old picture of him and his parents they were both still alive. All these were hurriedly gathered and put into a sack along with the helmet and pendants. Then he ran back to the control room and planned an escape pod to land near the supply drop. He then ran quickly down the hall, the sound of the red alert burning into his mind. he passed a few more frozen corpses but not of anyone he knew. As he ran he shifted his weight with each stride, this made holding the bag and heavy armor a little easier, not having to worry about the resistance of his own body weight.
He finally got to the sector where the pod waited his arrival. The oval door that had no windows, at the speeds the pod traveled to planets, to see it first hand often scare someone to insanity. The inside of the chamber as very cramped, dark and covered with many tiny lights. Under the seat that was provided for some comfort, was a compartment designed to put a very small amount of belongings. About the size of the compartments on an airplane. He put his sack in this receptacle, but kept the picture in his left hand. He sat in the reclining chair and fastened all the safety belts that came with it, the door automatically closed behind, presenting before him a numbered panel that he was expected to fill in with the code for the authorized launch. He plugged in the number, the device making beeping sounds with each key. At the last digit, the chamber made a hissing noise that signaled that the pod was being pressurized. a few seconds later he heard and almost felt hatch doors underneath him open. As the pod was launched he felt his arms get light, his gut clenched as the pod cascaded to the planet, and he tightened his left hand, wrinkling the picture...
...The world faded back into reality when he realized that he had landed... rather roughly. I found himself sprawled face first on a pile of rocks, the stagnent taste of blood on his toungue. His head ached terrably... Weak from shock and slight cuncusion, he feebly lifted himself to his knees. He tried balenced but fell backwards to find himself inclined on a pile behind him. The tempreture was very muggy and in his suit was stiffling, beads of moisture covered his visor. He took his helmet off and took and tried to inhale deeply, finding that it was rather hard to breathe.
With the helmet off, he took in his surroundings. Dense jungle surrounded his landing site. Everything covered in moss, not even trees were visable. Thick canopies covered the space above him like veins in flesh. Moving life was evident due to loud noise coming every direction.
A pluck of pain fell over his entire face, he covered his face with one hand to try to ease it somehow and groaned. When the pain subsided he looked at his hand, traces of blood coating the fingers. He now knew why his head hurt... He looked behind him and saw his vessal, crashed high up on a pile of mossy rocks. The door was ajar... He peiced together that the momentum of his body must have caused the door to fly open on impact.
(Here it is! My first post! About the date, Keep in mind that the year would be different where he comes from. In this Post he is a sargent. Its so long to build story line.)
