"I... I wanna try!" She said, scampering off to the waters edge.

Ezra followed her to the waters edge, he was about to suggest that she take off some of her clothes but he didn't want to sound like a pervert and couldn't think of a way to say it. "Hey, I bet it'll be easier to catch the fishes if we work together."

"Ok" Kiri chirped, looking down at her reflection in the water for a moment.

Ezra walked into the water, "try to scare the fish down to me." He told her as he started to walk down stream.

"uh.. ok." She said with a nod, waiting until he had walked a little before stepping in herself. Her blue-grey eyes widened and the black set of ears upon her head twitched and lowered as she shivered slightly. "I..Its cold!" She exclaimed, waiting a moment before moving a bit so that the water was deeper. Her tail, the same color as her ears, puffed out slightly before it was emreged in the water.

"You'll get use to it, trust me." Ezra told her when he finished waking down stream.

She let out a slight squeak as she waded through the water a little. Slowly she began to splash a little as she moved, trying to scare the fish into swimming towards Ezra.

As some fish come near Ezra, he leaped and try to catch though they always seem to get away, either by swimming fast or by their slipperly bodies.

She continued walking through the water, her blue-grey hues staring into the sparkly liquid. She blinked, seeing something move past her foot. Was it a fish? She stopped for a moment and waited. Something else moved. "I.. I think.. theres.." She started to say then quieted as the fish seemed to start to swim away. "No..no wait! Don't leave!" She cried frantically to the fish as she plunged her hand in the water and grabbed for it.
Seconds later she pulled them up, a squirming fish in her grasp. It flopped wildly, trying to get away and she lost her grip. For several moments it looked as if she were juggling the fish in the air. Each time she just about caught it, it would flick its tail and squirm and end up in the air again until finnaly Kiri lost her footing and fell on her hind end while the fish got away.

"You're good at catching fish, you almost had it!" Ezra said with amazment.

Kiri blinked. The water reached her chest when she sat and she was glad there wasn't a strong current. She got back to her feet and shook herself a bit to get a little excess water off. Her clothes were now entirly soaked. "B-but it got away..." She said, sounding a little deflated.

"Yes but you did almost get it. Maybe the next fish you'll be able to get." Ezra told her.

Kiri didn't look like she was so sure, but she didn't say anything. Instead she turned her attention back to the water and searched for another fish.

Ezra continue to try to catch some fish himself but was failing. When a fish started to come near him, he jumped right at it, trying to catch it without waiting for it to come closer, and it by chance he managed to grab it, the fish slipped right through his hands.

It was a few moments before Kiri spotted another fish by her feet. She waited for a moment and plunged her hands into the cool water. Like before she ended up juggling a fish in the air. However, this time as she juggled the slimy little fish she tried to move towards the shore so she would let it fall and it wouldn't be able to swim away. When she was close enough she swatted it onto dry land and watched as it flopped around. She scrambled out of the water and dove for the fish so she could hold it down.
