The streets of Kistu were empty that night. Here and there lights were on in houses, but most people were asleep. No one noticed the four small groups of people wandering about.
---
In an alley between two darkened stores stood a blue-haired wolf demon with another wolf demon who seemed to not want to be there. The blue one grinned. "As punishment for trying to run away, you're going to help me get some supplies.
---
"Shiiimeetsuuu," Alicia whined, walking alongside her blonde "sister" through the streets. "What are we doing here?" She didn't understand what they were coming to Kitsu City for.
"Shush. We are here to find him," Shimetsu sneered with disgust and kept walking.
---
He was just passing through. Strange to be here again after everything that happened. It awoke memories that seemed hazy, yet somehow perfectly clear. He found himself drifting in thought as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his face, to both conceal it and protect it from the rain drops that were beginning to fall.
He hardly noticed the familiar scents, and momentarilly forgot about his winged companion. His dull gray eyes stared at the ground in front of his furry black feet. He was becoming lost in the memories, the memories that made him want to cringe and curl up in a ball.
---
Sword and gun. The two partners trudged towards Kitsu City. He knew this place was a gathering place for demons, particularly those he had a history with.
He would enjoy taking them down, and he wasn't going to let anyone stop him this time, not even Van's empathy.

The wolf was silent and glared at the blue hair one. Her tail was swaying in an agitated manner, as she glared at him and hated everything she saw of him, especially the grin. That sick bastard knew that she did not want to be here, he was taking pleasure in that and that is why he is grinning, Emiri was sure she was correct about that.
Whatever supplies they were going to get will probably also be a pain in the ass, like how Thorn is. Maybe by some miracle, something would fall on Thorn and kill him. That thought gave the wolf demon some pleasure, thinking about how perfect and random that death would be.

The houses and streets were something knew to the winged girl. Her golden gaze flickered around with a curious interest. This wasn't the kind of place she was used to. It was neither the lab, nor the forest, nor the small house she'd been in tucked away in the woods; it was actual civilization.
She kept close to her companion, glancing at him from time to time as she looked around. She couldn't really see much of his face now that his hood was up. She herself had no real protection from the drops starting to fall. Her coat didn't have a hood, though she didn't really mind.
Her wings were folded tight against her back as she walked. A small smile was upon her face and she walked with an upbeat kind of trot. Sometimes she stopped to stare at something but never let Limetsu get more then a few feet away from her. She wanted to stick close to him.
"...So... Where are we?" He voice was melodic and a bit quiet, the curiosity easily able to be heard.

Thorn laughed. He loved the look of misery upon Emiri's face. He loved the way she hated him, how she loathed him and wished him pain and death. It was so amusing. The grin didn't leave his face, he was enjoying this too much.
"I just need some simple supplies, the first being more jewels," He motioned to the building to his right, a jewelry store. "None of that fake stuff, but anything else you can get ahold of works. Particularly rubies."
He stalked over to her and dug a claw into her arm. She wouldn't like that, but of course, she would not be able to stop him. He removed a shard, the one that had been holding her still and preventing her from running as he brought her here.
---
Alicia kept her mouth shut as she followed Shimetsu. The two did their best to ignore the rain, though it seemed to make them both more miserable. They trudged along as the rain got heavier.
---
Limetsu snapped back to reality at Zylia's question. He stared at her blankly a moment before replying in a distant voice. "We are in Kitsu City..." He noticed how excited and curious she seemed and smiled a bit. "I am sorry I do not share your enthusiasm...but I feel like I am walking into my past by coming here."
We are just passing through... He reminded himself. Nothing bad will happen.
---
"Wow Zeke, I wouldn't have expected you to want to come to Kitsu," Van said chipperly, despite the rain drenching his hair and clothes. In fact, he liked the rain.
"I don't," The man in the red cloak grumbled. He hated this place. There was absolutely nothing appealing about it.
Van was confused, and concerned, but he didn't question it further.
---
"If I were you...I would turn back now Arlon..." She knew he couldn't hear her, and she knew that even if he could he wouldn't listen to her. She knew she should turn back as well. She had watched them all enter. She should turn back, but she couldn't. At one time she had been a protector of this city, a quick black shadow at night that watched over everything when Yuri could not.
This was the place that had earned her her second nickname, "The Black-Winged Angel."
Of course, she had always been more fond of the title of a demon. It seemed to her to fit much better. Especially now... She glanced down at her right hand, the disappearance of the black marks still threw her off. The Black-Winged "Angel" will never fly again.
With that thought she watched Zeke and Van enter Kitsu City, watched from her perch in the tree branch.

A loud growl emanated from Emiri when Thorn dug his claw into her arm and removed the shard. Her eyes closed and her tail twitched more irritably as she endured the pain from that. What was even the point of that damn thing anyways? She wasn’t going to run, not after last time. It was probably just to piss her off, like every other damn thing he does. She really wished that he could just die and burn in hell.
Her hands loosely clenched into fists as she become more and more pissed at him. Why can’t he just leave and get his own damn rubies on his own? Why does he want to piss her off so fucking much? She kept her mouth shut still, trying not to show, that at the moment, every little thing was pissing her off, even the rain.

"It's ok..." Zylia said, her voice holding a tone of upbeat understanding. She knew Limetsu didn't like his past or memories of it. "but why would you want to come through hear then?..."
Kitsu City... She wondered what it would look like during the day when it wasn't raining. They're would probably be more people, probably more then she'd ever been near before. She wasn't sure if that excited her or made her a little uneasy. Maybe it was a little of both. She wondered what kind of people lived their.

Thorn stared at Emiri, grinning even more because he knew she wanted to punch him. He knew she wanted to run and get away from him, but from the moment she'd met him, she had fallen into a spider web, and she could struggle all she wanted, but she would just wind herself in tighter. The more she loathed him, the more she tried to run...the more she amused Thorn.
"Well, get going." He ordered.
---
Shimetsu growled. The rain was messing with her sense of smell. Alicia flinched, not liking the sound of the growl.
"Where is that bastard?" Shimetsu muttered with a sigh as she continued to trudge through the rain.
---
"I..kind of feel...drawn to this place, even if it does hold bad memories..." Limetsu replied, stopping to look at Zylia. It wasn't sprinkling anymore and the two of them were going to get drenched.
"Are you alright in this rain?" Concern was thick in his voice.
---
"These clouds look bad..." Van said, frowning. They were entering Kitsu now. Zeke of course, ignored Van's comment. He stopped for a moment at the entrance, glanced around, then continued moving. Van groaned and followed. He knew they wouldn't be finding a place to stay anytime soon.
---
Even though the rain was making the branches slick, the black clad girl kept on her feet as she nimbly jumped from tree to tree. Once she arrived at her destination, a small clearing not far from the city, she jumped down and walked over to her companion.
"Sisisee...A few...friends of mine are nearby..I am going to go see what they are up to. I will be back," With that she jumped into the trees again.
Please do not choose to follow me...

Shooting one last glare at Thorn, Emiri quickly made her way to the jewelry building. After looking around for a moment, she found a way in and began to search around for jewels that Thorn would want, paying specific close attention for rubies. She was careful enough not to grab any fake jewels, not wanting to deal with Thorn if she messed up with that.
As she was busy stealing those jewels, part of her mind was still raging on with her anger. Wishing there was some way to cause Thorn pain of any kind. The only thing that gave her any comfort at the moment was that as long as she was in the building, she will not be getting wet.
Sisisee was sitting against a tree, his eyes looking up at the sky, which was partway covered by branches. The small catcreature was lost in thought until the arrival of Shijiku. He gave her a slight nod about what she said and then went back to his thoughts. Sisisee did not plan on following her, there was not any reason to.

"The rain won't hurt anything. I'll just get wet. It's no big deal." Zylia chirped, smiling at the cat demon near by. "Maybe I should work on getting something with a hood like you... if we're going to be traveling more in the rain." Her tone and expression were both light.

Thorn waited for Emiri, not at all minding the rain, the smug grin still plastered on his face.
---
Alicia noticed a jewelry store as they passed. "Hrm...who's that?" She wondered to herself as she noticed someone inside.
Shimetsu turned to look into the building, eyes narrowing. It seemed to be a wolf demon...
She pulled out a fan.
"Uh...Shimetsu?" Alicia didn't know what was going on.
Not replying, the blonde cat demon send wind to slice through the windows of the store, shards of glass flying at Emiri.
---
Limetsu couldn't help but smile back at Zylia, chuckling at her comment about finding something with a hood. "Well it wasn't really the plan to be in the rain, it just kind of happened."
---
"Aw...come on Zeke..there's an inn right there...and they're still open..." Van whined. He was starting to get cold, and he didn't like where this was going.
---
Shijiku reached Kitsu rather quickly. She scanned the area for Zeke and Van. If anything, she knew they would find, or start, trouble.

"Well neither of us can predict the weather, at least not that I know of, so it might happen again," she said with a smile. "So all the more reason for me to get something with a hood." She took a few steps forward and stretched her wings a little just to give them a bit of movement before tucking them against her back again. "Come on, lets get going."

Emiri had found a bag in the jewelry store and was busy putting the now stolen jewels in it when she heard a gust of wind and shatter glass, then a moment later felt glass piece into her the force of the gust. Quickly she went to hide herself behind a counter as she tried to figure out what was going on.
Had she been caught at all? But if she was caught, then wouldn’t the person be saying something about coming out? Or was it just some kind of fucking surprise attack? A small frustrated growled escaped from her as she tried to figure out what to do. Slowly, and wincing a bit from the numerous glass shards now in her, she tried to look around the counter to see the outside. Part of her wondered if Thorn was somehow behind this…

Thorn had not expected this, but it sure as hell wasn't a bad thing. Shimetsu had probably seen Emiri and thought that it was him, as the it was dark and Emiri was a wolf demon. It was an understandable mistake, but hilarious nonetheless.
Shimetsu charged in through the window, sending slicing currents of air towards Emiri's hiding spot. Alicia hung back, unsure.
---
Limetsu nodded and walked forward again, though it didn't take long for him to stop dead in his tracks, expression going blank.
"Stay back Zylia..." He muttered, crouching down.
---
Zeke stopped abruptly, causing Van to run into the back of him. The older man rolled his eyes and pulled a pistol out from behind his red cloak...
---
Shijiku was hidden from the demon hunters' sight, but she could see them clearly. They've found something...

"Huh?" Zylia stopped as Limetsu stopped, blinking in the rain. "What is it?..." She asked quietly, watching as he crouched. She stayed back like he'd instructed.

Emiri saw Shimetsu coming and tried to duck for cover from the slicing currents of air. Her mind was racing, trying to think of some way to escape. She could feel that the counter was going to give way soon, and once the counter was gone, she’ll be defenseless.
Transforming in her wolf form, Emiri grabbed the bag of stolen jewels and quickly headed towards the opposite end of the counter and then tried to dart to the busted window to get away. She prayed that the cat demon didn’t notice her, though she highly doubt that the demon was oblivious like that…
